OUR NAME
The Ancient Hebrews had a deep understanding of how faith and work came together in their lives. It shouldn’t be surprising, then, that they used the same word for work and worship. The Hebrew word avodah jointly means work, worship, and service. The various usages of this Hebrew word found first in Genesis 2:15 tell us that God’s original design and desire is that our work and our worship would be a seamless way of living.

Avodah Events is a faith-based business with a heart for its clients and their journey! As owners of Buckeye Barn Venue in Piqua, OH we noticed the need for amazing qualified wedding pros outside of our venue.
We felt the calling that we should also bless others with the knowledge, dedication, drive, and success that has helped create 100’s of epic events at TBB. It has taken years to find the right team to launch this company with incredibly talented professionals who not only live but work in faith! Our focus is simple, “change everyone we encounter for the better”, and that is the way we approach our clients and events!
Yes, we are event professionals who partner with our clients to help navigate them through their events and once-in-a-lifetime moments. But to us, more importantly, we are friends who are doing life together!

Our services are designed for the couple who have completed all their wedding plans and want a professional to execute these plans on their wedding day. Our day of wedding planning service begins four weeks out at your pre-event meeting.
We tie up any loose ends so you will be at ease. We will conduct the ceremony and reception according to your plans and specifications so that your special day is flawless. On your wedding day, we will be your direct line of communication for family, the wedding party, guests, and vendors. Our team will communicate with and guide your vendors for set up according to your timeline.
We can help set-up your big day and/or pack up your wedding so you can truly enjoy your big day! Our services are client-focused!
